Supply Planner Needed for Consulting Assignment

We are currently looking for a structured and analytical Supply Planner for a consulting assignment with our client. The assignment is 50%, preferably scheduled for mornings, over a period of 4–6 months. Start is immediate in January.

About the Position

In this role, you will work broadly within operational supply chain planning, focusing on ensuring a stable and efficient supply of goods.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Conduct operational delivery planning for traded goods according to MRP calculations based on sales forecasts and material planning parameters (lead time, MOQ, safety stock).
• Place purchase orders with selected suppliers and follow up on delivery confirmations.
• If necessary, initiate and implement risk-reducing measures and escalate risks further within the organization.
• Ensure availability of the right product, in the right volume, and at the right time to meet customer service levels and contribute to optimal inventory levels.
• Support the buildup of inventory ahead of peak season.
• Manage and visualize scenarios in case of risk of, or actual shortages, and provide decision support for the business.

Who Are You?

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Good ability to work in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with purchasing and call-off processes.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Relevant post-secondary education, preferably at the university level, is an advantage.
